Schalk Mühle makes quality flour from organic Styrian Pumpkins Seeds. Highly nutritious, all the important vitamins (especially E and B) are still in the flour. Importantly, pumpkin seed flour is extremely rich in protein – indeed 58 – 60%. The mill produces a RAW pumpkin seed flour, as well as a TOASTED pumpkin seed flour.

In 1975 Schalk Mühle modernized their mill with a pneumatic machine to speed up production. This enabled them to increase productivity, whilst still producing in the traditional way. The romantic atmosphere may be lost, but today you can still see a unique mixture of the old and traditional in their mill, with lovingly maintained machines and new, modern techniques to sustainably produce products of the highest quality. It contains:

  • about 14 – 16% pumpkin seed oil
  • around 58 – 60% vegetable protein
  • about 11% dietary fibre

Ideal as an ingredient for protein shakes, bread, buns or bread crumbs!

Raw Organic Pumpkin Seed Flour 500g and 25kg

For this fine Raw Organic Pumpkin Seed Flour, we de-oil and grind raw pumpkin seeds.

It contains:

  • about 8 – 10% pumpkin seed oil
  • around 58 – 60% vegetable protein
  • about 7% dietary fibre

Ideal as an ingredient for protein shakes, bread, buns or bread crumbs!
